How this Highlands Ranch Chiropractor gets his Morning Energy

It's all about the morning smoothie. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all. Forget the usual bagel or muffin. Our goal is to stay away from all refined carbohydrates. The easiest way to get all the nutrition you need is from a quick, easy, delicious and extremely healthy morning power shake. Below is a list of all the ingredients I throw in my Vitamix; blend for 30 seconds and you are ready to go. I personally get most of my ingredients from the Highlands Ranch Whole Foods as I like to buy mostly organic food (I'm not a big fan of bug spray on my food.). During the summer season, I will also get a lot of the fruits and veggies for my smoothie from the Highland Ranch farmers market as locally grown food will always be more nutritious. Anyways, here is my morning breakfast that I eat/drink 6 days a week. (On Sunday’s, I usually opt for a healthy veggie omelet.)

1 cup of frozen berries
2 big handfuls of spinach and/or kale
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup whey protein
6 ounces filtered water
3 ounces pomegranate juice
1 scoop of dynamo greens

This powerful breakfast smoothie will tide me over until lunch time and give me the energy I need to adjust my chiropractic patients and keep Highlands Ranch one of the healthiest communities in America!!
